Not really. I guess it depends on the singles. Gaga's contemporaries are releasing singles that will be forgotten in five years and their albums will be forgotten as well. As bad as this album's singles have done, the album is def. not something people are going to forget in the long run. We fans will look back at this era and laugh at ridiculous we acted.
With that said, album sales > single sales in every way, shape, and form.
