The latter part is subjective. I doubt the public is not going to remember it

And it [Yuyi] is nearing 2m WW? I thought it had barely just climbed 1 million in the US (which in itself isn't bad). It's not a flop song, but it isn't a smash hit. I wouldn't call it "successful." It did all right.

Yeah that's why I said "IMO" The song is a nice change of pace for Gaga, a pop song with country-rock roots. I liked it.

Y&I is at 1.6m last time I checked (US). I consider a platinum single a success (and I'm sure a lot of people do too).

MTN is bound for becoming one of the biggest flops of all time, it has sold only 173,000 and it's at #40 on iTunes.

I think Hair is this era's last shot at a second life. The chorus is easily one of the catchiest on BTW. If only it didn't have that cheesy "freedom" message that people are already sick of.

It hasn't... yet. It's starting to pick up more and more radio spins and she still has one last shot while performing it at New Years. She just needs a single good promo spot to sustain sales until then (which I don't think is happening). If it fails to go up after that though, it's definitely done

It's losing steam on top 40 radio already and barely peaked at #14. after the christmas freeze it will go direct to the department of forgotten mega flops.

It does surprise me how many Gaga stans on this board had hope on this song because it was a return for the dance Gaga after her more relaxed "The Edge Of Glory" and "You and I" and those ended up being decent hits.

Lack of interest, tired of her antics, horrible video, bad timing, what's the reason for this song to flop so bad? It's gaga we're talking about, she had an amazing streak of 11 consecutive top 10 hits.

"Hair" is trash and will get the same respect radio gave "Judas"/"Y&I"/"MTN". GaGa knows this era is trash. 5 singles in 9 months is crazy, and they want to go 2 years w/a tour..so assuming that's still their plan. "Scheisse" needs to be next to boost some momentum back into the album, then followed by "Government Hooker" which will do good inevitably thanks to "Scheisse" worldwide smash.

She needs to rest for a bit and come back asap with a hot EP. Another single from this one would just put her momentum even further in the gutter. I do think Scheisse could be a WW hit for her actually, so maybe do that, but it's not going to happen in the US.
