If Justin wants a collaboration his team wouldn't disapprove, he's more in charge of what happens than people would think. He's already spoke about doing duets with Taylor Swift too, he's doing one with Cheryl Cole for her album and both of them appeal to teenagers. As well as wanting to mature he is going to satisfy his existing fan base too. And it doesn't mean the track couldn't be mature, he sung Overboard with Miley and she was still a Disney star but the song wasn't immature.
