If you're so convinced, it's like saying that Katy Perry will flop for sure the next era because she won't have five #1 singles again and because people will expect a Teenage Dream 2.0. There's a difference between "flop" and having a less successful era. I am so convinced that no matter what Lady Gaga did, it was not going to do as well as The Fame or The Fame Monster. I'm sure she could have released other music that was not Born This Way that would have done better but even that wouldn't have compared to TF or TFM that's what I'm saying.
I'm convinced whatever Katy releases next will not have half the #1's that TD did.
I'll wait to be wrong on that too.
