Though Bad Romance has gibberish, it's maybe 10 seconds not almost the first full minute. There's a difference.

I could go on, but you guys get the point.

We, as fans, as a whole at least, pretty much love this "sound," but we're the extremes just like the people who say everything Gaga does is trash.

I guess to the average pop listener this is screaming but I do remember that many singers in the 80's used to do the same. Pop has changed so much XD.

Sis.... You have to know that peoples don't need to UNDERSTAND the meaning of a song to love it..... I mean... Just a catchy hook is enough to love a song for an average listener.

That's the point. People used to do it. They don't do it anymore. Gaga wanted the record to have this sound, and she did an amazing job as doing just that. However, that sound is just not what people want anymore. Therefore, this album is not commercial in that sense and that sense only.

I still love Born This Way as a whole, and prefer it to most songs on TF and maybe a few from TFM, but Gaga clearly didn't consider the whole when she made this album.

Which is fine.

She said this album was for the fans, and it really is. It's something that casual listeners can find at least something on the album to like. For proof, just look at the haters on ATRL, they usually like 1-4 songs at most from the album. There is something for everybody on Born This Way, but not everything is for everyone.

Ultimately, Gaga did what she wanted to share something personal to her fans, and that's all she wanted out of it. Also, it really didn't matter what Gaga did this go-round. She was going to disappoint someone somewhere. When you're going to make people unhappy you might as well do what you want instead of trying to do mission impossible.

This will put her next album in a pivotal role, and It's going to be a major success. I'm betting on it.

Judas has a "catchy hook", but some of my friends hate it because it sounds "satanic" (they don't even believe in God >< ), that's what they told me

If I didn't come to ATRL, I would have NO idea that the BTW era is "suffering." I've heard Marry the Night several times on the radio. I don't remember ever hearing Telephone while it was big. I know the video was huge; it's nearing 20million views and the day it came out, EVERYONE on my facebook was talking about it and loving it. That's like when Telephone and Bad Romance smashed culturally.

I saw commercials for Gaga on Ellen, independent of seeking them out through ATRL. My MOM mentioned that she was excited to see Gaga on Ellen. My parents would casually bring Gaga up all the time during TFM.

The reason you all think she's flopping like a beached whale is because you sit staring at iTunes positions and radio bullets. I promise you, the general public has no idea that anything about this era is different.
