Umm. No. I never said 4 was supposed to win big at the Grammy's. There was no contradiction. I said that 4 was less of a commercial success without Mathew. Mathew knows how to work a flop era (i.e. B'Day), Beyonce obviously doesn't (i.e. 4).

Doing massive promo? For the past few months all she has been doing is going to her office, getting her nails done, and going to her husband's concerts. Even before she exploded she did not do nearly as much promo as she did during the other eras. She did not release the right singles either.

The lack of success has nothing to do with Mathew just like the grammys you brag about winning for her when she only won ONE during B'Day (where he was involved the most out of all her eras)

If she stated herself she wasn't catering to radio or the charts and was just doing music to please people as oppose to crank out hit records and top charts what do you expect? Her material obviously doesn't correlate with the charts, and she clocked that before the album started undeprerforming.

It was indeed a contradiction. How do Matthew works a flop era exactly? Bey choosed Irreplaceable herself to be in the album, what exactly did Matthew do to turn the era around? Nothing! RTA was released and abandonned then she released Irreplaceable, and still didn't win a thing at the Grammys with that song. So what is that work you are talking about?
