What is the most anticipated album of 2012.
Ok, so next year we are already seeing a pretty good line up of new music from some of our favorite artists. Some are debuts, some 2nd studio albums while some are highly anticipated albums from artists who have not released in a while. So, who in your opinion is the most anticipated of 2012.
So first up we have Lana del Rey, whose soultry new music is already making its mark here on ATRL and around the globe. Her debut album "Born to Die" is set to be released worldwide on January 31st.
Next up, is Mariah Carey. Although no release date is set, she has said many times she will be making her return in 2012. She is already gearing up for her return recording music for her album. From what we have heard so far, she is going back to her roots from earlier sucessful 90s albums.
Another diva, Madonna often hailed as the "Queen of Pop" is also gearing up for a spring release this year. She already has promo on one of the biggest stages of the year, and a collabo with Nicki Minaj. Will this prove to be a successful return to music for Madonna?
After nearly ten years No Doubt is set to release a new album in 2012. As of yet untitled, they have been hard at work after finishing a sucessful tour. As one of the biggest acts in the 90s will they see the same success in 2012 ?
Nicki MInaj finally confirmed rumors recently of her second studio album. Set to be released on Valentines Day 2012 is her new album "Pink Friday:Roman Reloaded". She is poised to take form as her alter ego "Roman". Already rumored to be on the album is Britney Spears.
Ok, next up is Cassie. This R&B Princess had a very memorable and successful debut single "Me & U" back in 2006. She has yet to see any sucess since then. They have they geared up to be a great performer? She seems to have a huge amount of promo coming up. Will this be the year Cassie makes it ?
Since her debut Ke$ha has seen a lot of success. She hasn't released a single that hasn't made the top ten. Her debut album hit number one, and saw much single success from her EP follow up Cannibal. Rumored to be taking a more rock edge with this album, will it smash?
Summer 2012 is the rumored release date for Nelly Furtado's upcoming follow up to her highly sucessful "Loose" album. Rumored collabos include Nas and Missty Elliot.
Willow Smith has created a lot of buzz around her music, and she has already made an impact on the singles charts & has worked with a lot of big names in the business. Will her debut album be as successful for this teen star as her previous singles?
As most of may know, Aubrey O'Day (formerly of the now defunct Danity Kane) Has been in the recording process of her debut album for some time now. She is now signed to a label, and will be appearing on the new season of Celebrity Apprentice. Rumored for release in 2012, are you looking for to this album ?
