Yes. So Any US artist is in the standard category, any non-American - even if they're Canadian or Mexican - is in the international category.

Some other guidelines:

- Only albums/singles/EPs released between January 1st, 2011 and December 31st are eligible.
- For Breakthrough Act - all that act has to have done is release a single or EP that gained attention to qualify. So good news to the Video Gamers out there.

It was released for digital download in the UK on January 16. It was released as a physical single in the UK on January 17.
