Not the first Asians; I know Utada had "Come Back To Me" in decent rotation on the major stations when that was out, even though it was in English. Probably first Korean stars to have their song in multi-rotation in native language though. The closest thing to happen to that is like Wonder Girls being played on Radio Disney, which isn't even an FM station.
