What? I often visit this thread from time to time as I like to catch up on some K-Pop updates. Your post caught my eye so I responded to it. No need to make a deal out of it as this is the first time I've responded to any post of yours outside of the J-Pop thread.
It's not the end of the world but it's honestly not good either. I personally think that if they want to crack Japan they should try to make some new original songs.

I agree with you on that. Their current discography is too Americanized in style for them to make any impact in Japan, so collaborating with a Japanese producer and releasing something more in the vein of the J-pop genre would be a beneficial effort on their part. I do think I Don't Care could do well, however.
SNSD's Japanese album is their only great record. Did I lie?
Also, I hope 2NE1's next Japanese single is either I Don't Care or a new song altogether. Nothing else in their discography has the slightest chance of even charting in Japan.
It better be something new, I want them to bless us with a new masterpiece.
And I don't understand why they're wasting their time in Japan when they can rule the world (Japan included).
