Oh, JQT? I remember their debut campaign. Too basic to afford proper teasers so they actually put paper flyers all across Seoul with just JQT on them. Not even a date. Since then, they've been flopping just as hard, apparently.

I came across an article, and apparently Akon signed them to his label (Konvict Music).

According to GP Entertainment, Melvin Brown, who established “Konvict Music” with Akon, was searching for an ‘Asian Lady Gaga’ when he found JQT through a Korean music representative.

That makes it sound like somebody who happened to know Akon signed JQT. I feel like it would be really strange for Akon to be looking for both the male Lady Gaga (apparently Jeffree Star) and the Asian one(s) when he's under Interscope, who already are going to have their hands full with 2NE1 and (obviously) the real Gaga. These receipts seem a little sour. Maybe it's just because they're proving that this **** is ****ing ridiculous.
