Katy Perry has revealed that more than $175,000 was raised to benefit over 50 nonprofit organizations through ticket sales for her California Dreams tour. The singer made special tickets available for sale via Tickets-for-Charity.com, where fans were able to access some of the best seats in the house while also supporting charities such as The Humane Society of the United States, Children's Health Fund, Generosity Water and others. "I'm thrilled to be able to help support the work these organizations are doing to fight and prevent animal cruelty, provide health care to homeless children and bring clean drinking water to communities around the world," said Perry. "I can’t thank my amazing fans enough for their generosity in helping these great causes by choosing Tickets-for-Charity.com for their tickets!"

To my understanding, she's handles a lot of the PR and spreading info about Capitol artists such as Katy and Coldplay. So I believe she's employed directly through Capitol records
