I don't think BB is shading Katy at all...if anything, they are giving her promo by telling their readers that the song is discounted. Maybe she will get a few downloads thanks to the BB.

OFC it's promo too. But when they say Katy Perry's TOTGA is the only song in the top75-selling singles in US iTunes discounted to almost half price, I can't help myself getting shady teas. It hints that TOTGA is using these cheap tactics to get advantage over other songs and to reach the summit.
