People have said I'm self-hating because I choose not to associate myself with this type of coonery. I'm sorry I would rather call the cops or walk away. I'm too classy for that ****. If you don't know how to stand for something without resorting to things in this manner then you need to re-evaluate life and it's principles.

Preach it girls, they can call me what they want. AM not having this type of coonery ruin my future.
They may be book smart but they lack a lot of common sense and decorum.
There was a more smarter way to handle that situation and they chose to do otherwise.

Well, it isn't smart to engage in a fight on a college campus. It isn't smart to engage in a fight on a college campus out in the open for everyone to see. And it DEFINITELY isn't smart to record said fight on a college campus and post it on the internet for the world to see. I mean, if they lack basic common sense then the assumption of them being dumb in all other areas isn't too far off.
And even if they were academically gifted, then they are even more stupid for wasting it.
Me either girl. The trashy white side or the ghetto black side.
Yuck.
They be saying we conform to the white people because we have family get togethers that consist of more than drinking 40s. We have game night, Mexican night, etc. When there's a problem, we sit down and talk about it. Call us white. I don't give a ****, but I refuse to stoop to this level.
We don't know ****, all we can do is base it off of the video. The video says that the kid getting his ass beat stole from the guy attacking him. So I'ma go off of that.
It's irrelevant though. IF he stole from the guy, then he's stupid, and he's not getting my pity. The point is that if you steal, you accept the consequences that will be put upon you, whether that be legally or socially.
Personally, looking at that, kid must have done SOMETHING, I mean, I don't really see a college guy just picking some random kid to beat up. However, if that is truly the case, then of COURSE I feel bad for him.
But what I'm talking about clearly has an IF statement outlined first. That's what the discussion is about. Regardless of IF he did or IF he didn't, the attacker is wrong anyways. It's just the IF that changes whether or not I feel bad for the victim. Because ch... if he did, then he needs to go get some street smarts.

This whole thing reminds me of that viral video of a bully getting his ass beat by a big kid.
Yeah, that lil' kid was limpin' at the end, but if he was big enough to be a bully, then
he's big enough to deal with the consequences. And that goes the same for this
video. You steal, you deal with the consequences, whatever that may be.
And they are going to have a VERRRRRRRRRRY hard time trying to get accepted into another college of Dean's caliber with those charges on their records.
"unarmed robbery" killed me, but he deserves it so it's all good.
Aggressive prosecuting is a very grey area. Typically minorities are always on the wrong side of it.
Two people can do the exact same thing and get charged with two different crimes depending on the whims of the prosecutor.
I'm not really sure I agree with the full range of charges, but it could be argued either way as he was knocked unconscious for a brief time. It just all depends on the prosecutor and the underlying political & public pressure to make an example out of someone.

They ****ed their futures up.
Ch... half of them look like they only way they got into Dean was on an athletic scholarship.

Now other wannabes will think it twice before doing something that stupid

And that's EXACTLY why no one felt bad for that little skinny boy. Same principle on a different level.
Even the punishment is sad. Not that I disagree that the aggressor should not be punished in any way.
That's charges on his record for the rest of his life that will shape his quality of life and influence his standard of living.
The other girls got expelled from college which is a huge setback and a waste of someone's time and money.
I have no idea if that goes on your permanent academic record like cheating, which could influence them getting accepted to any other school.
It's really sad what one decision can cost you.
If you ask me they all deserve it, I don't feel any remorse for this type of ****. You don't understand the pressure that is put on all African American young men when these things happen. Videos like that influence so much hate towards us, and not just hate but other things too. They don't deserve to have good jobs and live nice lives, they deserve to rot for what happened in this video, it's just the truth. I couldn't even watch it more than once to further analyze it, I hate physical violence, it's so uncalled for. Every ignorant burst of laughter is like being stabbed in the back.

You still don't know that he stole anything.
And had he stolen from you, your ass wouldn't have done **** so stop acting so tough.

Like niece, our faves taught us that we must conform to society standards and be like the white girls or we will get left behind. We do what we must.
