EDIT: Today I read an article from Pitchfork about Justin Vernon (Bon Iver) & his opinion about GRAMMYs. I kinda agree with him, that music is not a competition. Everyone has a room in it. Award Shows should not be taken seriously. So, speaking of the ACA, even tho Carrie won the awards, at the end we'll see who won the audience. Audience >> Awards. Just saying.

This is what country music has descended to... It actually makes me agree with almost everything I read on that savingcountrymusic blog that dislikes Taylor so much. Watching this makes me wish Taylor would just switch to singer-songwriter and forget country music.

+1 but awards should not be rigged. IF you received more votes you should win. It makes everything look like a joke. Its not just Taylor but Zbb was screwed over losing to Chris Young who probably received a tenth of the votes Zbb had

i read that blog too! even triggerman lately agreed that taylor made good music. not just faking it just to fit the country audience. and i hope the same thing. just forget country, move to bluegrass or folk-rock/blues (fleetwood mac type), she can fully show her strength there & especially that they appreciate the good music, not the fakery.
don't be too pissed with this award show. the contest-born/based singers come with expiration date, while the real artist will be immortalized by time.

that's like wishing for the moon tbh. even the grammys too (milli vanilli?). so im not really surprised with the ********s they showed on aca. zbb's & taylor's lost are the most ridiculous thing i've ever heard, why? because out of the acts the country genre showed in this era, those two are the ones that really make good music. others? meh.

Yes, she did. I didn't actually see her at all, I was just taking other people's word that she was there... I wouldn't have wasted my time if I were her... Even the People's Choice Awards are more prestigious

Nominations were based on statistics like videos were based off a point system on the Gac countdown over the time period. Single is based off of mediabase. Tour is based off of tickets sold . Album is based off of sales and Artist is all the criteria combined. ITs a shame that they don't actual count the votes though

Scottys my cousin but I have to agree his albums been out like 8 weeks. TBP deserved the win but he's A.I. so he had to win I liked his speech because it told the truth he really had to thank A.I because he had no chance of winning otherwise
It makes me upset seeing all this hate towards Carrie Underwood. I mean why can't you be happy for her? I mean I LOVE TAYLOR SWIFT (Recently Jamming to Haunted/Back to December/Enchanted/Mean) and I do think it was terrible that they nominated her for every category and snubbed her..
