The history of my interest in Nicki Minaj:
First I ever heard of her was probably a feature. Lemme think back...
I'm not quite sure which it was. It might have been Lil Freak. I know I wasn't THAT impressed by it.
But for whatever reason, I began to look into her.
As far as I knew, Beam Me Up Scotty was her first mixtape, and so I began there (this was before PF came out, but I think YL was about to be released as a single).
I listened to BMUS and just wasn't taken in by it, except for certain tracks: Itty Bitty Piggy (of course), I Get Crazy, Kill Da DJ, and Beam Me Up Scotty.
Anyways, at some point, Your Love came out, and my interest in Nicki waned, and I went back to looking up other artists.
Pink Friday came out, and again, I liked parts of it, but her pop side kept popping up so I kept backing off.
And then all her rappy features started coming back, so here I am, interested again. With the announcement that this album will be "Roman Reloaded", I'm all ears.
Oh and Ive said this before, but I dont think the video will be for RIM, and obviously I could be wrong, but I think she could be filming it for another song since the whole album is gonna have Roman on it, she could still use the concept of Roman in moscow without it having to be RIM. I doubt a full-fledged video will be made for a buzz single.
