I wish, but I don't see it happening. She would really need a HUGE song. And it would have to be something that could sell albums, not an "On the Floor."

You underestimate the straight men. While halftime is a major bathroom break, breaks only take 2 minutes max.....people will watch Madonna's performance, b/c there is NOTHING else on at that time on any other channel.

Mariah is THE most commercial, even if Memoirs wasn't.

Her accessibility and honest pop&B/AC music have always been what has set her apart.

And she only had one smash in the 2000s so I'm not sure what you were talking about.

Exactly. Something with substance. If Janet catered to the R&B/urban community, she would SLAY easily. R&B is dead for the most part -- but when an artist does R&B right, then the community WILL support that artist (i.e. Maxwell, etc...). I just couldn't see Janet wanting to put out radio candy like On The Floor. She needs something timeless like We Belong Together.
