I honestly truly love the video and feel like it's the best from the era. I'm kind of done with the comparisons to Bad Romance. The video is iconic in it's own retrospect. Comparing it to everything Gaga has done is just beating a dead horse.

I wouldn't lie about liking the video. If I didn't like it, I'd say so, but I wouldn't go on an immature rampage about how bad it sucks. The video is poignant, surreal, emotional, and everything Gaga has never given us before. I like the aesthetic, the acting, the camp, the drama, and the over-the-top-ness. The only thing I can say I don't like is the ending dance scene and the very ending with the fire, but that's mainly because I haven't a clue why it's there other than to scare people. This video made me see Gaga a little different. There were parts in the video where you could tell she wasn't acting and those parts touched me in a way Gaga never has.

Is it better than Bad Romance? I don't know and I don't really care. Bad Romance happened two years ago and is completely irrelevant to Marry The Night. If we compare everything she does for the rest of her career to Bad Romance, we will never be happy.

It's a really good video, but didn'T top BR IMO. It's not a big deal anyways.
