I think the reason there's so much female domination at the #1 spot is because these days most of these male artists just put out their music and then let it do it's thing. LOL. It's only the females that are pulling the cheap last-minute remixes and 69 cent discounts to get a #1.

And that's not like the only factor.. There are not so many POP male artists.. And if you are talking about Hip-Hop or Rap, those songs don't have so much longevity and they free-fall too fast

His post may be factually wrong, but it did make sense. He's insinuating that women are dominant on the charts due to cheap tactics while males don't stoop so low for #1 hits or chart dominance. Again, factually wrong since Guetta/Usher did something like that (but failed), but it made sense.

That's where I think it doesn't make sense. He makes it seem like it's a frequent act, when only a couple songs benefited the most from their tactics. Women are more dominant because they put themselves out more in terms of promotion.

Half the males are features and the other ones are groups.
