I just hope they dont rush the 8th era like they rushed femme fatale and it ended up being a complete and total mess. The promo was a total mess and I blame her management for repeating the same perf. twice and forcing britney to perform while sick.
She just needs to step her energy up and fluidity into her moves, I've also come to realize that her meds are hindering her ability to properly perform
The Circus era actually brought people on her side. For once people were rooting for her, rather than against her. I remember after For The Record all I saw on Facebook was, "we love you britney", " she is so sweet" etc etc. So if she can even capture half of the relatabilty she had in Circus she will be fine. She even made Times Most Influential People Shortlist, with the tagline "Who knew she was such a fighter". In short she needs another Circus, she was open but still was private, she had a perfect balance then. I'll never know what happened between then and now, but I have a feeling she was over being open, seeing as everyone...especially her fans...twisted and turned every little thing into a conspiracy (and still do).
But she doesn't need another era UNTIL she is out of her conservatorship and has her life in order...not because I care or think any of that has hindered her, but simply because her fans can stop using it as a excuse whenever things don't go their way "She is not promoting cause of her conservatorship", "she is not dancing cause of the control they have over her", "she forgot to smile correctly because they are forcing her to do this" etc etc.
What she can't afford is to jump into another era so soon, and that includes next Fall. She needs to take her time, and judging by her comments...she will. She is diversifying her brand, and it's obvious music is not the main priority an therefore shouldn't be coming anytime soon, or we will get something half baked and half assed. And crap she can't afford.

i agree.... for the next era i dont want a lot of things ..i want to be more in control with her music basically i want another type of music not another club record and i want an epic perofmance .thats all....
I want to see her work with Paul Oakenfold...Faster Kill Pussycat has Britney written all over it
A Sexy, rock edged, progressive house synthed, tranced up pop album is all I need in this world. And that song fits the mold and Paul would certainly deliver
