Honey J.Lo got that from Destinys Child who got it from BEYONCE, the one who came up with the idea and did the vocals in the first place. The fact that she was in a a group is irrelevant to the discussion, because you can still set singular trends by yourself. Many have tried and all have failed, nobody else in music HISTORY can ride a beat the way she can. She can go from singing to rapping, adding libs, hiccupping, and then back to singing all in one, while staying on key. EVERY female artist has tried before since 1997 and none have succeeded, and almost all the important pop stars will list her as in influence and say they have listened to her music, the two biggest pop stars of today list her as their MAIN INFLUENCE and IDOL.
