300K is well in proportion to the the UK population of 60m. A must higher ratio than the US in fact where it is 1million for platinum in a population of 300 million.
I really don't care about the Australian market as to me it is minor. The big guns are Europe, US and parts of Asia.

anyway, Talk That Talk will have longevity in it's consistent sales and success. which is more than we can say for other peoples' faves who released albums recently that aren't selling well anymore and older albums from, say, november 2010 out-selling them on a week-to-week basis
