At this point i'm kinda hoping they just end the FF era and don't release another single, it really does feel dead. I'm ready for a new era.
I agree this era needs to be killed .... But at least they still could get some benefits from christmas by releasing now a 5th and final single and final promotion ... IMO the era should be killed on February/March.
And then she releases a new/epic/innovative album on November 2012

Britney announces the 5th single from Femme Fatale on Twitter (Up N Down) this weekend, posts iTunes link to Femme Fatale along with the tweet and RCA puts it for radio adds this Tuesday.
The flawless video is released a few weeks after, debuting as an exclusive to the UK + US X-Factors, put on Vevo and on iTunes directly after and an iTunes banner for UND linking to the video, the song and Femme Fatale. A Behind The Scenes by MTV is also filmed and shown.
Britney then performs a medley of UND, TTWE and Criminal on the UK and US X-Factor and appears on Ellen for an interview. The tour performance of UND is also used, with her live vocals on it, for various other promo spots, promoting both the tour DVD, album and ensuring that UND will slay with it's promotion.
To take advantage of them huge Christmas gift card sales, iTunes then offers ALL of Britney's songs for 0.69c and discounts all her albums at the end of the year, accompaning all this with a banner. Britney will dominate iTunes, and should be enough for UND to get a top 3 or #1 peak on the Hot 100.
Reality of what will happen ...
We won't get a 5th single or Britney announces a 5th single, shoots video, releases it, and her and her team forgets the **** about it and leaves it to die. Whatever song released has the chance to outright flop or airplay make it a moderate hit in the US only if radios are here for it or not.
And yes britney is tweeting more...at least we think she is...
