lol I know that, but Beyonce is a bigger pop star than her and it wouldn't make sense for her to hold that up. People would be focused on who's on the cover, not the brand of the cover.

It's not about the ****ing magazine itself genius, it's WHO is on the cover. People would be focused on who's on the cover, not the brand. If it was an actor then it wouldn't have been a problem but since Keri and Beyonce are both pop stars and compete for urban radio then it makes zero sense for her to sit there and promote another pop star who's bigger than her when she's currently trying to make a name for herself. I HIGHLY doubt Beyonce would hold up a magazine cover with Rihanna on it and I wouldn't blame her.

Juicy magazine is insignificant and basically obscure compared to Essence magazine. Ashanti or Brandy could have easily been on the cover, and I doubt Keri would have held it up for them.

As soon as I saw this on TGJ, I knew there would be a shady thread on ATRL.

But why would should she hold up a magaine with Beyonce on it when everyone here knows the Beyhive would STILL drag her for it? That was my first thought. I remember she got dragged for praising B on her RTW performance at the Billboard Awards. I'm pretty sure Keri was trying to avoid that again, but did not count on this video.
