Captain, Britney's success doesn't rely on her competition. It never has. If she's lazy, she will flop with or without competition. If she brings IT back, she will reign with or without competition.
Obviously britney has to step up her game, like i've said countless times in this thread before BUT with less competition it'll be easier for her to do well imo...
Nope. Everyone knows Britney. If she got a super hot body again and added some fluidity and moves into her hand and hairography, the attention will easily be back on her. But because she's average in everything except great music, it's easy to overlook her. She could do well with less competition with her standards today, sure.
And the lessors will deal with Gasoline smashing harder than I Wanna Go. The video will take place in a club. Confirmed.
I am only here for a Car Wash video.
First scenes for the start of the verse, we see her jacking that car with a everything that would make it sexual, during the day, including some cigarettes smoked in a sensual way. We see her right at the start of the breakdown in night, blowing up the car and after the bridge, a hard core dance breakdown with a lot of grease and maybe some dirt on her, making I Wanna Go look like dust.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
She's improving, but this era's promo performances already hurt her.
I really don't understand why she spends so many hours in rehearsals nowadays. What does she do? I also don't understand why is she so criticized, when Katy sounds like a cat getting raped, and Rihanna always screams, in addition to not having any stage presence. Both are also unable to dance.

Britney gets more attention doing nothing, than someone doing something. Blah blah we all know this....
In more interesting news, Express played Trip To Your Heart today. The store manager said it's being added to all their playlists
Her next single?!?!
The world isn't ready for Trip To The Top Of The Hot 100
Yeah, just like it wasn't ready for "Criminal." It should be "Big Fat Bass," “Trouble For Me,” or "Gasoline," since I don't see "Up N' Down" getting a release, despite being the best choice. I would love "Inside Out" as a single though.

They really did. Honestly, if britney had performed hiam and ttwe in the promo performances like she does on tour WITH the body she had during the circus era, she wouldn't have received anywhere near as flack as she did.

I feel like Britney gets criticized mostly because of her performance skills in the past, in most reviews that bash her they talk about how she's not in her prime anymore, that she can't dance as well, she doesn't look as good as she used to etc, Katy is still kind of new and doesn't have the legacy that britney has so they don't expect as much as they do from her, and Katy does get criticized for her vocals a lot as well, but she can sound good when she wants. Same goes for rihanna.
If you haven't supported the Queen, do it now. >>>> http://atrl.net/forums/showthread.php?t=157675&page=4
I can't at all the no's in that thread, I understand she is no where near what she used to be. But she is still a good performer.
