Don't rule MTN out immediately because of a single Adele song. Who knows what might happen? SFTTR went to #11 in the UK. The album has sold so many copies already, the same may happen in the US
It's a good sign. I remember that after X Factor performance The One That Got Away shot up to #15 in a few hours and than it started declining, while MTN has peaked lower but it's still rising with some new releases above it.

Yeah, but RITD wasn't even that big in the UK and it's one of the biggest digital songs in history here. Adele is the big thing here now. I'm sure SFTTR will go near 160M AI and probably sell 4-5M.
