I'm loving the album, I really can't believe how much I disliked the snippets and how much I'm being slayed but every single track.
My Rating:
1. You Da One 8/10 - Wasn't feeling it at first, but this is so dam catchy, yes is cheap generic and is going to get old in a week, but I still can't resist it.
2. Where Have You Been 10/10 - The WFL part 1, I just can't with is track is so ****ing amazing.
3. We Found Love (feat. Calvin Harris) 10/10 - The perfect follow up to WHYB, similar production but with a softer tone, it slayed me on first listen and still does, it never gets old.
4. Talk That Talk (feat. Jay-Z) 9/10 - The new WMN, great production, great Jay-Z verse, catchy and not annoying at all(unlike the oh nanananana of WMN).
5. Cockiness (Love It) 8/10 - It took me a wile to fully understand this track, the production is extremely messy and the intro plus the annoyingly long "YOUUUUUUUUUU" almost made me give up, but the lyrics are just to good to go to waist, specially the breakdown, its the new **** anthem.
6. Birthday Cake 10/10 - It completely rips off fireball, but I still can't resist this piece of delicious cake cake cake cake, I really wish they manage to release the longer version.
7. We All Want Love 8/10 - Such a nice ballad, a love anthem that has a great flow to it, is not a song you'll probably want to listen everyday, but for the softer days it puts a smile on your face.
8. Drunk On Love 7/10 - The loud almost "screamy" voice on the chorus got a little annoying for me but is undeniably one of her best ballads to date lyrically, for me it needed a different production.
9. Roc Me Out 10/10 - My biggest guilty pleasure, is already my most played song on the album(minus WFL), is all I loved about Rude Boy, with some S&M, I just can't get enough of it.
10. Watch n’ Learn 8/10 - This one was the hardest to get into, at first it just sounded like a MOTS leftover, but after a few spins I found myself jamming to it is just infectious.
11. Farewell 10/10 - My personal favorite ballad from her of the last 2 albums, her voice is flawless, the production is a little overpowering but once you get into it, is just epic, I know it would flop has a single(unfortunately) but I would love a dramatic video for this track, perfect closer.
