The only song that is so explicit that "kids couldn't hear", as JustJared said, I think, is Birthday Cake. Maybe Cockiness, too, but the rest are fine.

It is, but most female pop albums are sexually explicit these days. Though, this is Rihanna's most sexually explicit album to date. But it still isn't nearly as "bad" as the reviewers made it out to be. You know?

It's so good, though.

Aw I'm not gonna listen though . I did that with nicola Roberts album . I wasn't excited much lolz. Cause the snippets and such. But in a few days its gonna die down. So I won't have to see the lyrics posted all over Twitter . This is my first time ever doing something like this .

Yeah, and "Birthday Cake" isn't even as explicit as it could have been. Maybe the full length song will be even dirtier.
I'm trying to imagine the reaction of a child hearing "suck my cockiness, lick my persuasion".

Do you get Janet teas from this album like I do?
Especially that line in Cockiness.

I can honestly see it being a track that in the future I'm only ever going to listen to it when I'm listening to the entire album, just like "Say it", "Photographs", and "California King Bed" for their respective albums.

YES! Definitely. I also get Madonna and Michael teas at times.

I know what you mean. I'm just really in love with it right now. But after awhile, my least favorite becomes my favorite (see: "Rude Boy" and "Man Down"). I do the same thing with "Photographs" and "California King Bed". "Don't Stop The Music" and "Cheers (Drink To That)" as well. Oddly enough, I'll sometimes play Good Girl Gone Bad just to hear "Say It". Something about it pulls me in.

The only sexually explicit songs are "Birthday Cake" and "Cockiness (Love It)" (if the double entendre lyrics even qualify). But then again, I haven't heard any snippets of the deluxe edition tracks (and I don't plan on it), so I don't know what they're like.

I think it's just that nearly half the album is in reference to sex, and most of it being about the ***** being chewed, which is really rare to hear from a (non-rap) female star.
Cockiness, Birthday Cake, Roc Me Out, and Watch N' Learn are all pure filth.

It ends with "I wanna **** you right now; just get up in my body"

I agree, but that one specific review that was posted on ATRL made it sound like a Khia album. I'm not disappointed or let down in any way; just a little confused as to why they made it out to be more explicit than it really was.

Is it bad that I don't consider that line that explicit? I've been desensitized.

DSTM was one of your least favourite?
Sometimes I like to listen to them, but not very often. And they're in the middle of the album (Wn'L will be in the middle with deluxe tracks) and so it kind of makes me not excited for that portion of the album, unfortunately.

I don't think it's necessarily shocking, just most people find it shocking to hear from Rihanna.
Every single person I've played Cockiness for gave me the same reaction with the first 3 words:

Any signs of deluxe tracks on the distant horizon?
The album is fantastic, I am not dissapointed at all, so far my faves are...
Where Have You Been
What n Learn
Drunk on Love
You Da One
Cockiness
Birthday Cake
I realise that is half the album, it's just all really good. Still getting into the slower tracks, the only one I am not in love with is TTT, too much Jay tbh.

Yes. It was one of my favorites in the beginning, but it is overrated to the high heavens. It's an alright dance track, but definitely not Rihanna's best.
That's how I feel right now after "Birthday Cake" finishes. I find myself skipping "We All Want Love", sometimes listening to "Drunk On Love", then playing the rest of the album until the end. And it doesn't help that my two least favorite tracks come right before my favorites.

True. Casual fans and listeners haven't really seen that side of Rihanna yet.
Same here. I was talking to my parents and it came on, and my mother was like, "Wha.. What the hell did she say?!".
