Talk That Talk will blow everybody's predictions out of the water.
OK WAIT A MINUTE why the f*** did Birthday Cake just stop!? How were they stupid enough to make it just 1 minute? Who does that expect like... Janet Jackson?
Anyways, as I was saying, this album will put Katy Perry to shame.
It will debut with even lower sales relative to the current hype. 150k tops. It will also fail to surpass Loud's sales (AND TD's sales), but she's gonna snatch number one after number one this era, coming up close to Mariah Carey's record.
The Navy will think that this is some God-given sign that Rihanna has been validated as an artistic legend, sort of like what the Katy stans thought when that sleaze TGIF hit number one. Make no mistake, Rihanna will remain as disposable as ever, especially with the material that I'm hearing right now.
10/10. The album is perfect, it's not no fillers at all, every single song is single-worthy and it's my 2nd favorite of the year. Rihanna just ****ing ******* on every single girl in the industry, no joke.
FLAWLESS
!!!
One of the best pop albums of the year. It's absolutely wonderful.
Now that I've run through the album once, here are some quick first impressions:
You Da One - Cute, catchy, deserves more praise than it's been getting
Where Have You Been - This song is everything. Big, loud, catchy - it's an anthem
We Found Love - Pretty, angelic, great production - perfect lead single
Talk That Talk - Jay's verse was okay, production was okay, chorus was okay - just an okay song. Kind of weak Cockiness - Bangladesh brought his A-game, the lyrics are extremely sexy, and Rihanna gave me major Janet teas
Birthday Cake - Flawless. Can't wait for the final version
We All Want Love - Weakest song, probably. Kind of a bore, but it's not bad Drunk On Love - Gorgeous production, gorgeous sample, Rihanna's voice is heavenly, and the lyrics are very easy to relate to
Roc Me Out - It may be a Rude Boy 2.0 but it's still great and very catchy
Watch n Learn - Sounds like Sell Me Candy upgraded meets Countdown; very fun
Farewell - Utterly beautiful. Sounds like Fire Bomb
And she does also the bgr voices for You Da One, Where Have You Been, Talk That Talk, We All Want Love, Roc Me Out and Farewell...as far as i've heard...she gave a lot of input to this album!!!
