I don't have a problem considering Adele a popstar. I think Rolling In The Deep is a massive pop song, and I believe it was created with the intent of being one. I don't doubt that 21 might outsell Fearless, either.
But, as I said, I believe Adele is much more of an it girl of this year, whereas Taylor has dominated every aspect of music in the United States (without the typical #1 hits) for the past 4 years. You say Taylor doesn't have radio on her side, but once again I'll point to the fact that in 2008, 2009 and 2010, Taylor got more radio spins than any other artist in the United States. I'm sure she'll have plenty of spins this year, as well.
