I actually discovered ATRL because of Rih aswell. I googled something about Rockstar 101 and its itunes release date (It was just performed on American Idol and I though songs had to have a release date in the US to chart )

I was blown away by it; even more so than when I first heard Rated R. I hated Rated R upon first listen, but I grew to love it over time. With Loud, I absolutely adored it at first, and grew to dislike it over time. I loved the album again after I took it for what it really was (and what Rihanna intended): a fun dance album.

California King Bed never leaked. Here's what went down.

We got Only Girl, then WMN?, then LTWYL Part 2, then snippets then S&M. Then we got Cheers & Complicated, then Raining Men.

After that the whole album leaked, but when the snippets came out, there were like four per song, so we had like 2/3 of every song.

I discovered it because of Katy Perry, sort of. I briefly browsed ATRL a few years back (around the Good Girl Gone Bad: Reloaded era), but I don't remember how I originally found the site. I never ended up joining, though, and forgot about it. Then, when Teenage Dream leaked, one of my friends sent me a link to ATRL, and I browsed again for several months before joining. Rihanna/Loud convinced me to join.
