I just stopped by to say that I've fallen so hard for "The One That Got Away". The chorus in particular is so beautiful. I can't wait to see the video.
Just listened to the live version Katy did of TOTGA on X-Factor a couple of weeks ago. Oh my god, she performed so beautifully. I forgot how amazing she was when it's just her voice and the guitar instead of trying to sing over background music. I really liked the tempo, which made it sound more like a ballad. The harmonizers complemented the song perfectly and I thought I'd just come in here and share my thoughts. This has always been one of my favorite songs on the album, but I like the live, slower version better. That is all.

"Circle the Drain" should be a single. "The One That Got Away" shouldn't be. Just my opinion, to be honest. Might not have the same success as the other singles, but it would still be amazing.

Yes, "Circle the Drain" is probably the best song on the albu. "Not Like the Movies" and "Pearl" tie for second there. I don't want to be posting flamebait, but I honestly hate her single choices, though I won't deny their success.

I'm sorry boo, but that's a matter of opinion, I don't think CTD would flop, its an amazing song. but whatever, it ain't happening anytime soon. TOTGA is most likely the last single from this era.
