I can't at somebody's telling that Katy Perry isn't local. Where does the most of her album and single sales come from? Ch...

And TF+TFM by far. Just Dance, Poker Face, Paparazzi, Bad Romance. Even Telephone and Alejandro were kinda huge.

Obviously The Fame Monster
Rememeber it's not only about charts relevance at the end is more important
and apart from being #1 Gaga with that era was a HUGE phenomenon katy no. (she's just "huge" because of 5 #1s in the US )

LOL are you serious? Telephone peaked at 3. Just Dance at #1 .Just dance sold 6,348,000 (7.7 WW). Telephone sold 3,011,000. I'll agree with Paparazzi though, even if sales are slightly in favor of Paparazzi. Oh and we are talking about The Fame MONSTER.
You tried though.

Katy is a singles artist and you have no choice but to deal.

LOL You completely ignored everything I posted! That has more to do with The Fame's major success than Katy's lack of success. If you add up Gaga's two albums and double it, it's still less than ...Baby One More Time's sales. Does that make Gaga a singles artist?

The Fame Monster is a masterpiece, but youd be delusional if you said that as a whole the TFM era was bigger than the TD era. TF/TFM may rival the TD era, but we're talking about the fame monster. Teenage Dream had 5 multi platinum selling singles, and the record itself multiplatinum selling. And four singles that effortlessly topped the hot 100, and one that would have effortlessly topped the hot 100 had it not been for one lousy song
Again guys, dont turn this into "Who do you like better, Katy or Gaga" its, which era was more successful.

In terms of success:
TD got 5 #1s, so that's a pretty good start for it, but there's so many more things to factor in than single success if we're comparing full eras.
I'm pretty sure TFM had better success moving albums, for one.
Also in tours, TMB was obviously a much bigger success.
In terms of personal interest:
In music videos, it might be a tie. I love Bad Romance, Telephone, Firework and E.T., but loath Alejandro and LFN.
In the end, I'll always have TFM, in full, on my iPod. I don't even have all of TD, 'cause some of it is just ugly music.

TFM was better at moving albums? It only sold 1.5 mill albums in the US. TD sold over 1.8 or 2 million. WW sales are that far apart either.

Are we still on this? Katy is as local as Dillards or Kohls.
No one in the world knows them; Katy can **** out singles
and turn them into hits but never be a WW star

I don't understand why anyone would argue that Teenage Dream is more successful. Singles aren't the only thing that determine overall success:
Single success-- TD
Album success-- TFM
Critical success-- TFM
Award success-- TFM
Cultural impact-- TFM
Worldwide success-- TFM
Gaga was untouchable during that era.
