Worldwide, TFM without question.
Before the EP = 4m albums worldwide.
After the EP = 16.5m albums worldwide
It cemented Gaga's status as a
global
phenomenon and the biggest pop star the world had seen in at least 10 years.
BR was also a bigger global hit than any of Katy's TD's singles. Telephone was another global #1 that's sold 8m copies.
That era Gaga brought public interest to the music video medium that hadn't been witnessed in years.
TFM era saw Gaga produce a $220m grossing tour. No comparison.

TD brought a lot of hits - which honestly everyone will forget - but it didn't bring anything iconic like what Gaga did with TFM.

Let's go by album sales. Not single sales. Which one was more successful?
Or chart placements?
Speak.

You have to be really pressed or delusional to vote for Teenage Dream
TFM didn't sell as many singles because they sold the EP and album

The 4 Million seller or the almost 17 Million seller?
Good lord, somebody must be very stupid to do this poll.

The Fame Monster.
Is Katy selling out albums & arenas? I think not.
Are Katys videos smashing like TFM ones? I think not.
Who won the Grammy? Gaga.

Smdjf this has already turned into a popularity contest based on personal interest/choice rather than chart placements/sales. Delusion.
Gurl, bye.

You can't even put them side by side. Katy will never have a album that is popular like TFM was.
Girl, bye.

The Fame Monster overall. Teenage Dream was only more successful on the singles charts, obviously.
This kind of data is quantifiable; I don't know why people insist on asking the question like it's an opinion.
