I haven't really LISTENED to FBB to know if there's an subliminal message (probably is knowing Janet -- and oddly enough I know all the words), but it sounds like an homage to the Jazz Era. The lyrical content just doesn't reflect the album. "New Agenda" does reflect the theme of the album in the vain of dealing sex, and the hardships of being a woman, plus or minus being Black.
