I don't know because I don't follow radio or iTunes updates that much. But hint taken.

Oh my. Flop stans because we actually want britney and her label to actually make an effort in promoting a single, like artists and their labels are SUPPOSED to do? I'm SO sorry.

I dont give a **** if they can't make Britney do promo, it's Britney bitch and it's been like that since 2007.
But why can't they do the LEAST and make Britney add Criminal to the Tour.
This was gonna be perfect promo for the Criminal for the UK, where they LOVE ballads.
And they BLEW it., yet again.

This is exactly what I'm wondering. I know why Britney doesn't wanna do anything, but would the label want to do as much as possible? That's their money and as a big business you'd think they'd wanna get bang for their buck. I can think of a ton of ways to promote without performing.

Their whole roster is full of absolute FLOPS, britney really is the biggest artist they have, you'd think they'd want to go out of their way to make it a hit....

No promo is the new thing. Look at all the pop stars. How many performances have you seen this week from anyone?

And I like how Britney and her team have forgot about Criminal faster than HIAM! The video being flagged and all is obviously effecting it yet they aren't even trying to bring out a somewhat clean version that people can view and it can be played on TV! No iTunes banner, Britney hasn't even the song added on the setlist on tour and hasn't been performed! Struggling on radio, nothing being done! To think I thought RCA might try with Criminal with it being their first Britney release!
It's like it's not a single!

It's a shame they're completely wasting the highest sales period of the year though

Her sales keep going down and if the next era is going to be as mediocre as this one... shell do worse. Smh at them hoes when there are a lot of struggling artists trying to make it. They wish they had all the connections and influence Brit and RCA have. Is sad tbh......
What's so hard about sitting the bitch in a chair and make her move her lips with a backing track...I mean she does it every nite anyways.

Plus, they don't even have another huge artist to spend money & time on.
Ke$ha? I don't think so.

Sorry boo, we ain't the kind of stans that think Britney actually does great promotion / she's a legend so she doesn't have to promote / she does this for "fun and nothing to prove" so there's no need for her to show her music actual support and care / her team are the ones blocking her from promo cos they "control" her / she now has kids!

But do you really think RCA would spend money to promote an era that it's pretty much done and where the artist doesn't really care?
For example Capitol spends money to promote Katy but the difference is that she got 5x platinum, 4x platinum and 3x platinum singles. And her 6th single is almost top 20 on itunes without a video or any TV performance in the US.

As long as she went on tour, they couldn't care less how her singles and album performed.
Her label will make more off her tour than they would ever with single and album sales, it's really not that hard to figure out people. Christina, Ke$ha, Avril, Usher and whoever else...besides P!nk will never make as much money an era as a Britney Spears era that includes a tour.
Even her non sell out dates gross more per night than that of sold-out dates of other artists.
There is no point in promoting Criminal in the US if the radio won't pick it up. Britney came off the back of 3 huge radio hits, if they were going to play her, they would have already. Stop wishing on this non-existent star. Criminal is on it's own at this part.

No, I mean from the beginning. From HIAM forward. And not just this era, but Circus as well. I'm not saying I prefer either way, I just don't understand from a business perspective why they would think this is good.
