Britney HERSELF and her team are probably the dumbest and most disappointing team out there in the industry. Is not all about RCA is her as well for not making any effort. Her sales keep going down and if the next era is going to be as mediocre as this one... shell do worse. Smh at them hoes when there are a lot of struggling artists trying to make it. They wish they had all the connections and influence Brit and RCA have. Is sad tbh......

What I don't get is why her label (or whatever) would let this happen. I don't really know how this all works, but they would obviously make more money if her songs and albums did better, right? So why would they be okay with her just doing a tour and no promo? I know why Britney doesn't want to promote, but wouldn't they have a bigger say in the matter?

I don't feel bad. Cuz Katy is actually a hard worker and the reason why she's so big is because she was worked her way up. She deserves the success. Is more a jealous feeling tbh lol usually there's something exciting going on with other popstars but with.us.....

The only thing missing now is Martian's sermon advocating The Big Fat Bass now that Criminal is stalling and RCA/Britney seem out of touch.

I can't wait for the breakdowns when the promotion-dry Countdown passes Criminal...or until we figure out that Katy has done zero US promotion for The One that Got Away, yet radio is still playing it.

Or until Marry the Night manages to get played on the first day.


RCA tried to pull the ****ery by releasing a "radio single" and trying to get people to buy that like it was a new song.....but the Britney stans didn't fall for that **** and now they have to suffer the consequences.

What did they expect? Slow songs don't just take off on their own unless you promote them, whether it be through commercials, movies, performances or simply adding it on tour.

I joke....but really, it's sad...Criminal is easily Britney's best video in a very long time, but no one is seeing it.

Criminal is different than anything else on the radio - but no one is hearing it.

Jive was smart with one thing -- that IWG Bravo commercial worked WONDERS for sales. RCA needs to master the art of promotion WITHOUT Britney. Criminal needs it desperately.

Also....I've said it before, how fricken hard would it be for her to pre-record her vocals and a performance of criminal, if she doesn't want to sing live and air the pre-recorded performance on x factor? She'd easily get a performance slot and it's not like she'd have to actually rehearse a big routine for it...
