Apparently he does. I think Simon kind of left him as his voice in absentia.
Quote:
Louis Walsh is reportedly planning on replacing Tulisa with Cheryl. We are not sure why (!) Perhaps it’s because Tulisa fails to acknowledge what the Genre ‘Rock’ is? Food for thought.
“Simon will do anything to turn the show around,” A Secret source told The Mirror. “It’s no coincidence that as soon as the new team came in the viewers fell off. He thinks the only way to save he show is to get rid of some of the panel.”
“Louis and Simon are best friends. Louis is his eyes and ears in the show, Simon’s man on the ground, so he is the best-placed person to decide who gets the chop. If he thinks Cheryl will get the ratings back up he’ll tell Simon to give Tulisa the chop, no matter how good friends they are.
“Cheryl was loved by the public in a way no other judge ever has been, before or since. Her comeback would guarantee a massive ratings boost.”

I just don't think any of the X Factor UK contestants are that good, with the exception of Leona and Alexandra Burke. It's so funny that people criticize Cheryl's singing when she's just as good as most of the people on that stage -- not only that, she can dance and sing at the same time. Most of these acts are just standing up there with the microphone, singing in the same single octave over and over.

Are you talking about her deciding vote with Tom from South Wales, when she filled in for Dannii?

Cheryl should def. NOT come back this Season.
She will take over the US soon, and don't need the X-Factor anymore, they did her wrong in a very bad way, and she is so much better than this.
The X-Factor gets worse and worse, Louis is a absolutely horrible Judge, Kelly Rowland is way to bitchy, and Gary and Tulisa are the only ones, who do their Job good.

I agree. Tulisa picked I'm Like a Bird for Rhythmix (now LIttle Mix) and I think it was an absolutely stellar performance. They should win this season, IMO!
And yeah, Misha B is definitely the best out of the girls!!!

I think Louis is too old for the show. They need someone that is up to date with the industry now. Not 10 or 20 years ago. I like Tulisa though. She's young, fresh and hip. However, Kelly seems to have a bit of an ego because she's the big "international star" and as for Gary, eh. He's kind of boring. I think Cheryl has had her time though. It's best she moves on. If anyone, I'd rather Simon come back. He knew what he was talking about. Although, he's on the US version now so who knows.

Yeah. I mean Louie thinks Johnny can to be a popstar he's stuck in the 90's tbh. Wtf? Old bitch needs to go and tbh Alexandra >>>as a judge. I guess tulisa can stay.
I don't want Cheryl as a regular judge but I'd love to see her as a guest judge just to see her on.TV again....and hose epic GIFs

Cheryl Cole 'in line for US TV show after making peace with Simon Cowell'
Cheryl Cole is on the brink of resurrecting her US TV dream after being caught in a tug-of-war between two prime time shows.
The axed X Factor USA judge is shipping back to Tinseltown in the hope of sealing a deal amid news she has also buried the hatchet with Simon Cowell.
‘I can’t say who but two of the top-ten rated shows in the US have approached me about Cheryl working with them,’ her manager, Black Eyed Peas singer Will.i.am revealed.
The US singer said his protégé was more than ready for a transatlantic commute this time around after she wilted under the Hollywood spotlight on her first outing.
‘In her heart, the UK will always be home for Cheryl but she understands that being in LA is a must for the future,’ said Will. ‘It’s where all the best movies and TV shows are commissioned and, if she wants to be a part of that, she needs to be here.’
Cole also has some famous mates to take her under their wing. Will said: ‘She is buddies with Cameron Diaz and J-Lo. That’s the sort of girl Cheryl is – everybody who meets her likes her and that will get you a long way in this business.’
The trio struck up a friendship after Cole made a cameo appearance as a talent show judge on new flick What to Expect When You’re Expecting. The 28-year-old may also be able to hang out with Cowell, 52, after patching things up after The X Factor debacle.
‘They are both professional people and they are fine with each other,’ the 36-year-old told New! magazine.
Meanwhile, Chezza has also made tweet peace with one time nemesis Lily Allen, 26.
Cole cooed over Lil’s baby bump in a Twitpic.
Cole wrote: ‘@MrsLRCooper looks ridiculously cute with her baby bump.. Aahhh..’

Cheryl Cole could be US household name, says will.i.am
will.i.am has said that he believes Cheryl Cole's new album will make her a "household name" in America.
The Black Eyed Peas star is continuing to manage Cole's US career. The Girls Aloud singer is currently working on her third solo album, for which a release schedule remains unconfirmed.
will.i.am told New magazine that Cole has made "a lot of powerful friends" who could help her break the "notoriously tough" American market.
"She's doing really well, she is really happy at the moment. The thing is with Cheryl, she makes the best of every situation and always comes out fighting," he said. "She has a lot of very exciting things coming up and we are working on a lot of projects. Nothing will ever keep that girl down for long, and I do mean nothing. She is an inspirational person.
"We speak a lot because, most importantly, she is a very good friend of mine and I want to know how she is doing. On a business level, we have a lot to speak about as well, but with Cheryl it has been and always will be friendship first and business second for me."
Describing the sound of the upcoming album, he continued: "It's got a really great dance feel to it - it's going to be played in clubs across the world. This is her best work yet. I don't often say things like this, but I think this album will make her a household name in the US."
Cole, who recently filmed a cameo in Cameron Diaz's new movie What To Expect When You're Expecting, is said to be "working very hard" on her new LP.
Teasing a potential future project, will.i.am said: "I can't say who, but two of the top ten rated shows in the US have approached me about Cheryl working with them."
Asked if Cole will make Los Angeles her permanent base, he said that the 28-year-old "understands that being in LA is a must for the future".
"She will always be flying between LA and London, but yes, LA is going to be her home for a while," he added. "It's where all the best movies and TV shows are commissioned and, if she wants to be a part of that, she needs to be here."
The full interview with will.i.am appears in the new issue of New magazine - out now.
