IKR? Producers use the same beats over and over, some songs don't get released and they re-use the beat. Some underperform or some do extremely well and are imitated for repeat success.
Diplo and Tiesto recycled the beat for 'Catch Em by Surprise' with Busta Rhymes, it was originally a demo with Rock Mafia and Miley Cyrus. Reputable producers do it too.
