A ton of 4chan users tried to scare tumblr users into thinking tumblr was going to close their accounts a few months back. Them ****ers are pressed and crazy.

That's EXACTLY what it is lol, I took the honor of googling its origin, and the saying goes people used to make the mistake so much that it became popular to actually make the mistake.
Kind of like how Deeds single handedly made "I'm Died" an ATRL lingo legend with one post.
