Just like when Katy Perry performed last year and got an AOTY nom for an atrociously reviewed album that had barely scanned Gold. And then put on a fake beauty pageant act: "omg like did this really happen like I can't believe this!"

Well, the first year, there were a bunch of performers who were eligible for awards. Some of them got like 1-3 nominations, some got none. It was artists who didn't even perform on the show who scooped up all of the big nominations. I think Ne-Yo was at the show, but he only presented and got six nominations over people who performed on the show that year. So, who knows what the Grammys will do this year? Voting isn't done either. The ballots are due by Nov. 2nd.
