Dont downgrade Bey like that. Naughty Girl, Baby Boy, MM&I were NOT bubblegum.
CIL and COI were R&B songs played a ton of POP stations. She has always been an amazing R&B artist, and Pop eats her up. Her songs have never been bubblegum.
