I was unsure of what I actually thought of this song. When I first ... acquired the album, I was just happy that Britney had a surefire US radio hit on the disc, after the under-performance of Hold It Against Me and (at the time) Til the World Ends.

But I never really concentrated on the song proper. It is, melodically speaking, weaker than TTWE and Criminal, and not as ... daring it is sonics as the first single. I can see why it works, though. Just - radio has kind of killed it, no? A 6 from me.

I'm so confused by the Born This Way tracks that Gaga stans love. Why do songs with great hooks and actual melodies and at least a basic recognition of human emotion like "The Edge of Glory" and "Marry The Night" get dismissed in favor of robo-techno trash like "Government Hooker"? Just because Lady Gaga is "weird" and "different" doesn't mean her music shouldn't be good.

You should see the Awards Daily rate - the loudest of the bunch were IRATE when TEoG made it top ten and Americano came in at 35 or something.
