She always finishes her albums "last minute", but that's only for what the typical recording process is. Basically, Rihanna finishes her albums a month or less before release. Your typical artist finishes their albums months before release.

Rated R and Loud were both completed in October and I'm fairly positive Talk That Talk will follow the trend.
