it would be just like pronouncing 'What's my name?', the question mark isn't a part of the pronunciation just like the pound sign wouldn't be a part of the pronunciation

The difference is that a ? can be found as part of english punctuation. I have yet to see a sentence which incorporates a # in the english language. TT's do not count.

Germans charts are not based on sales..they are based on the money that is spend on a song..it's hard to explain...that means a physical copy that costs 5 euro is more important than a download..this system is often critisized and I don't like it too...That's why I think WFL won't go #1 because there's no physical release yet..I hope you understand what I tried to say

They're very popular in Europe and Asia. In fact, I know that in Japan it's nearly impossible to have a hit single without a physical release.
