#1 Album For 11/21-11/28?
ATRL, I want your tea. 1/2 the music industry thought "Hey, maybe I should release an album on November 21st" so now there's a million albums being released. Studio albums, live albums, remix albums, it's just gonna be a MESS. Even more insane is the Friday that the 21st follows: Black Friday. The insane deals are going to help not only the new releases, but Adele's 21 get huge boosts that week as well as Susan Boil's album to be released earlier November In short: that week is gonna be ****ing ridiculous. As of now, the big contenders are:
Adele - 21
Lady Gaga - Remix Album/Tour DVD
Taylor Swift - Live Album
Rihanna - Talk That Talk
Nickelback - Here and Now
Susan Boil - New Album
Mary J Blige - New Album
Michael Jackson - Invincible
Now, which one of these is getting the number one? Cause I just do not know.

No, but she's #3 on Billboard and she released her album over half a year ago. She's pretty much getting moderately-successful debut numbers weekly, she's probably gonna get huge ones again with Black Friday.

This week is way too unpredictable to tell. 21 is already 4x Platinum in the U.S., I honestly doubt there are enough album-buyers left that didn't buy it yet to cross 200k, despite the huge deals. Tour albums usually don't sell much, but they will still sell a decent amount. The #1/2 is a tossup for Susan Boyle and Mary J Blige, #3 is likely Rihanna, #4 is Nickelback or Adele, and #5 will probably be MJ. I could be totally wrong though.

I say Adele, Rihanna, or Susan Boyle, in that order. If Rihanna promotes, she'd have a better chance, but who knows with that woman. Get the info that she has a new album coming out and stuff, cause most people were just like "OMG did you know Rihanna came out with a new album?!?!" in like early December and I was like "Bitch please." She needs everyone to know that date, do some Gaga-scale promo for the next month and a half.
That being said, though, I think Rihanna will take the #1 a week or two after if not during Black Friday weekend. I don't know why, I just have a feeling.

Meh, 21 is STILL selling like a new album. It was released in February and is doing 120k in October. It's inevitable that Adele gets a boost for the holidays.

21 was released in February lol, and she's currently pushing 110K+ a week right now.
You know Columbia gonna give it a discount around the holidays (to like $9.99 probably)

Isn't Michael Buble releasing a Christmas album? Justin Bieber and Jackie Evancho also. You have to also consider some surprises. Who knows? Florence + The Machine may be one of those artists to sell well throughout the holiday season or something else.

I don't think Rih will miss top 5. Not 100% on that, but I think she's a good contender for #1, so for her to miss top 5 just seems a little much. Who knows, though. If she debuts at #6 and gets 300k, I will not be bothered one bit (not gonna happen at #6, but still ).

Even if she debuts at #6, she will put peak that in the next 4 weeks when the Christmas albums and one month sellers stop sell.
