“Born This Way” superstar, Lady Gaga, called into “On Air with Ryan Seacrest” on Friday to talk about all things iHeartRadio as she gets ready to take the stage Saturday for the sold out music festival.
It’s no shocker that when Gaga hits the stage, it’s usually a performance to remember. It’s either her crazy outfits or unique characters, aka Jo Calderone. Gaga’s performance is going to be “volcanic.” She says excitedly, “Well, I actually designed the stage especially just for this one performance. So it will never be used again. And I put a lot of time and thought into it. It’s really innovative and exciting. It’s going to be very fun.”
The singer will be the last performer of the night. Her set is scheduled to run at least 45 minutes, but it looks like she might keep all of her little monsters out later than expected. She is going to give the audience a different taste of Gaga. She explains, “I actually filmed some new films for it. All new interstitial films, new music, and new choreography, everything! It’s going to be really great. And special custom costumes from Versace for the performance.”
Will the most requested Halloween costume of the year, Jo Calderone, make a special appearance? She hints, “He may in some form.”
Since, the “You and I” entertainer hasn’t be on tour for a while, that doesn’t mean she isn’t making new music and preparing to tour again. She shares, “I’m actually already working on my next album. So I’ve been working on that. I’ve been planning the next tour. Which keeps me very excited and busy because I have lots of new ideas, and I know exactly how I want it to look. I’m also planning my next music video. I have lots of thing to do, but in truth, I feel like I’m the most alive when I’m on stage.”
We’re not sure if she will be performing any unheard tracks yet, but she maybe in fact bringing a special performer on stage with her Saturday. Will she need a “special” seating chart request? Gaga says, “All I will say is there may be a surprise duet with someone that is also performing.”
Don’t worry if you weren’t one of the lucky ones to snag a ticket for the live event, the music festival will be streaming live both days online.
