Avril was obviously supposed to release the 5th album under Epic but seeing the hit potential of WYWH have delayed the adds date until November to try and get the holiday sales for GL. Epic records is not a good label guys, but it may become a good one with the direction of LA Reid.

Also it seems they have split their artists up into the ones who want creative control and the ones who will be controlled by their label;

Avril

It was not Avril's decision to move to Epic records. Avril is signed under Sony Music Entertainment. They will move her where they want when they want. Avril would have had no choice about this at all.

Well seeing as any label could of done a better job managing Goodbye Lullaby, I am happy she is under Epic Records... although isn't this label based on Hip Hop genre?

You're probably right, but it's not even difficul a situation where they asked to Avril what kind of album or what kind of music she wanted to do.

Even if this topic is part of what I study I can't be rational when it's about Avril.

Maybe is based on hip hop but there are also singers like Pink who are not hip hop.
