It's party her fault. Judging a book by its cover didn't become such a popular idiom for nothing.
She wears her artifice on her sleeve (sometimes literally
); it's like a big unavoidable iceberg always staring you in the face. The GP thinks she's the fakest popstar because of what she shows them. If they'd look closer, they'd know that the other popstars' artifice is much greater. It's just not as apparent - like the part of the iceberg that's submerged underwater.
