Probably for the same reasons Gaga does it. They both love fashion, they both love entertaining not just through their music, neither of them mind all eyes being on them, and neither give a **** about the criticism.

I would LOVE to see Nicki get in contact with her more intrinsically artistic side but, I've given up looking for a deeper and profound meaning to things, especially when it comes to pop music.
All we can do is enjoy the music and take it for what it is.

I don't know what you're rolling your eyes at, since A) TF/TFM implies-- no, scratch that-- it means TF AND TFM. The fact that Nicki is nothing like TFM therefore invalidates your statement. B) Why are you acting like I didn't address TF? I did. TF Gaga did not come close to how bright and crazy and loud and colorful Nicki is dressing right now. Not close.

I feel as though this is way too much of an extrapolation. Gaga's fashion has way too many meaning's behind them rather than just sheer entertainment value.

I cannot just except the sheer entertainment value of things, but if the work is good I will recognize that. I will not demean or degrade an artist's integrity to their work. If I do not like something I may express my opinions but you have yours and I cannot change that.

She will have many "plain" haired, "normal" makeup wearing days to come. She does what she wants, when she wants forever progressing and regressing with fashion. As does every single person in everyday life. Her and gaga just happen to be moving to extremes in progression and regression.

Just because I'm a Gaga stan, I don't condone fashion ****ery. My problem with her entire look is that it undermines the logistics and art of fashion. Fashion is not simply, "let me put a whole bunch of **** together", it's much more than that. The fact that she would even dare come to NY fashion week like that is appalling. Her seat, is her seat- it's not solely based on her fashion prowess.
